At the meeting of Vice-Rector for International and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Milica Balaban, PhD and Prof. Dragana Ostic, PhD, with the School of Finance and Economics of Jiangsu University, it was concluded that the cooperation between the two universities has intensified.

They considered the possibility for employees of the University of Banja Luka to attend doctoral studies at Jiangsu University through the "Belt and Road" programme. As stated, the scientific works that would be published as a result of doctoral research would have the affiliation of both universities.

As stated during the meeting at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, held on 16 August 2022, the two universities have a cooperation agreement concluded in 2019, and the extension of this agreement for another three years was recently signed.

They also talked about concluding a memorandum of understanding and cooperation related to cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Banja Luka, which, according to the two interlocutors, is an excellent opportunity for the promotion of agricultural sciences and the achievement of better conditions for education and research in this area.
