Meeting with Students of the Sino-Australian Joint Program in Finance by the School of Finance and Macquarie University Business School

On the morning of September 15, 2023, the School of Finance and Macquarie University Business School jointly hosted a meeting for students participating in the Finance program (Sino-Australian Joint Credit Recognition Joint Education Program) as part of the 'Sino-Foreign High-level University Student Exchange Program' in the third lecture hall of the campus conference centre.

Eric Nett, the Dean of Macquarie University Business School, David Harrison, Director of the International Office, Stephanie Huang, Deputy Dean of the Business School, David Sam, Executive Director, Stella Wang, Head of the Greater China Region at the International Office, Yuhui Zhang, Manager of the China Office, as well as Fang Fang, Director of the Overseas Affairs Department at the National Operations Center of the Ministry of Education's Sino-Australian Joint Program, and Zhou Siying, Commissioner, and Lixinchao, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office at Jiangsu University, were among the Chinese and foreign dignitaries attending the event. The event was chaired by Yan Jun, Deputy Dean of the School of Finance.

Eric Nett provided a detailed introduction to the history, characteristics, resources, and professional and employment rankings of Macquarie University, and expressed a strong willingness to deepen exchanges and promote cooperation in the international talent development field in business between Jiangsu University and the School of Finance.

Stephanie Huang elaborated on the talent development model, advantages, and features of the Finance program (Sino-Australian Joint Credit Recognition Joint Education Program).

Wang Xiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Finance, introduced the faculty strength, discipline and major settings, degree point construction, and highlights in talent development at the School of Finance, fully acknowledging the fruitful results achieved by both sides in the construction of the Finance program (Sino-Australian Joint Credit Recognition Joint Education Program). Wang Xiang looks forward to the continued and strong collaboration and exchanges between the two universities and schools, tirelessly working towards the cultivation of international talents with sound thinking, outstanding skills, teamwork, and a global perspective, as well as a sense of a common human destiny.
