On May 8, Professor Zhao Chunming, distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor of the school of economics and business administration of Beijing Normal University, made a thematic report entitled "double-cycle new development pattern: background, foundation, and construction path" in the lecture hall on the first floor of the library. The report meeting was presided over by Professor Li Hongbo, deputy secretary of the CPC committee of Jiangsu University. Teachers and students from the school of Finance and Economics listened to the lecture.

Professor Zhao's report analyzes the new trend of economic globalization, the historical evolution, and the effectiveness of expanding domestic demand. It then puts forward the main path to build a new development pattern of a double cycle.

In the end, Secretary Dai Yelin of the Party committee of the college gave a closing speech. Secretary Dai called on all teachers and students to seize the opportunity to learn from famous masters and teachers and encouraged students interested in academic research to continue their further study.
