On March 9th, the School of Finance and Economics held a Russian Master Program Promotion Conference in Room 1309, Sanjiang Building. Professor Zhang Xin and Wang Weijun of the Russian Center for Education and Technology were the speakers. Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice President Sun Houjun, as well as undergraduate counselors Wang Yan-hui, Zhang Ying-li, and Hua attended the meeting. Nearly 30 junior and senior students of our college participated in listening and consulting the specific application and dispatch procedures of the project.

Wang Weijun first introduced the origin of the project and the overall situation. He explained Russian policy, the basic condition of studying abroad, Russian diet, climate, culture, and other aspects of the Russian master program related to the situation, as well as curriculum and teaching arrangements. He said that the number of students applying for master's degrees in Russia is increasing year by year, and studying abroad is changing steadily. Everyone should think about their actual situation, keep abreast of relevant developments and make preparations in advance. At the same time, he gave detailed explanations and answers on the application process and matters needing attention. He encourages qualified individuals to apply actively and go abroad for further study to become top innovative talents with global vision, familiar with international rules, and participate in international affairs and competition.
