On February 8, the School of Finance and Economics organized a meeting to convey the relevant requirements of the University’s epidemic prevention and control work, and arrange teaching tasks for the new semester. The meeting was presided over by Professor Kong Yusheng, dean of the School of Finance and Economics. Deputy secretary of the party committee Dai yelin, vice dean Yao hongxing, executive vice dean Hu xuhua of the industrial economy research institute, department heads, office directors, and deputy directors of the MPAcc Center attended meeting.

Dean Kong pointed out that according to the unified deployment of the University, starting from February 10th, the faculty and staff of the school should work in a flexible manner, promote the development of various businesses normally, and make preparations for the start of the new semester. Teachers who have teaching tasks in the new semester should make full use of the online platform and adopt flexible and diverse methods to do their work well, ensure that online teaching starts on February 24, and provide students with online education and teaching activities such as tutoring and answering questions. The guidance of graduation thesis should also be arranged scientifically and reasonably to ensure that students graduate on schedule. All departments (institutes) should accurately organize and make arrangements in advance while accurately reporting relevant data on epidemic prevention and control every day, and make detailed and practical teaching preparations before the start of school.

Secretary Dai said that it is necessary to give full play to the role of instructors and academic tutors in communication and bridges between students and teachers to ensure the smooth completion of various teaching tasks. Vice dean Yao and Hu respectively made specific arrangements for postgraduate teaching, undergraduate teaching and international student teaching. Participants discussed the specific implementation of related tasks.
