In a dedicated effort to support the post-graduation transition of its international students, the School of Finance and Economics conducted a comprehensive career development workshop on Octorber 25. Tailored specifically for final-year international master's and PhD students, the session addressed the unique opportunities and challenges they face in the global job market.

The workshop featured a multi-faceted agenda. A human resources director from a major multinational bank outlined the skills and attributes sought in global finance recruits. Representatives from the Jiangsu University Career Center provided hands-on guidance on tailoring resumes for different cultural contexts and mastering virtual interview techniques. Crucially, an official from the local Entry-Exit Administration Bureau offered a detailed clarification of work visa (Z-visa) and post-study work permit policies in China, a topic of great relevance for students wishing to launch their careers locally.

The interactive nature of the workshop, including mock interviews and one-on-one resume critiques, provided practical, actionable advice. This initiative reflects the School's holistic approach to education, ensuring that its international graduates are not only academically proficient but also professionally prepared and legally informed to navigate the complexities of launching successful international careers, whether in China or abroad.
