On March 19, international students from the School of Finance and Economics at Jiangsu University visited the Pearl S. Buck Memorial Hall in Zhenjiang and participated in a face-to-face exchange with the Secretary-General of the Zhenjiang Municipal Foreign Affairs Office. This activity was designed to enhance the international students' understanding of local culture and deepen cross-cultural dialogue between Chinese and international youth through humanistic education and interactive communication.

During their visit to the memorial hall, the students explored the life and literary achievements of Pearl S. Buck, the Nobel Prize-winning author known for her profound cross-cultural engagement and advocacy for mutual understanding between East and West. Through historical documents, multimedia exhibits, and personal artifacts, the students gained insights into Buck’s deep connection with Zhenjiang and her role as a cultural bridge in her writings.
