On July 3, 2025, the School of Finance and Economics successfully held a postdoctoral exit defense in Room 1304D of Sanjiang Building. Dr. NUDRAT FATIMA from Pakistan, whose cooperative supervisor is Professor Hu Xuhua, Dean of the School of Finance and Economics, participated in the defense.

During the defense, Dr. NUDRAT FATIMA made a detailed report on her postdoctoral research work, systematically elaborating on the research background, research methods, key findings and innovative points of her project. The expert panel conducted in-depth questioning and careful evaluation on relevant research content. After rigorous discussion, the expert panel unanimously agreed that Dr. NUDRAT FATIMA has completed all the postdoctoral research tasks as required, with solid theoretical foundation, standardized research process and valuable research results, and approved her to pass the exit defense.

Professor Hu Xuhua highly affirmed Dr. NUDRAT FATIMA's efforts and achievements during her postdoctoral period. He pointed out that her in-depth research in the field of finance and economics has injected new ideas into related academic research and hoped that she would continue to deepen her research and make more contributions to international academic exchanges and cooperation in the field.

The successful holding of this postdoctoral exit defense not only demonstrates the solid academic training level of the School of Finance and Economics but also promotes the exchange and dissemination of international academic achievements. It will further boost the school's efforts in building an international academic platform and enhancing its academic influence.
