Recently, the School of Finance and Economics at Jiangsu University successfully held the graduation defense for five international doctoral students in 2025. This event marked a key milestone for the students and reflected the school’s progress in nurturing high-level international talents in finance and economics.

The defense followed strict academic standards. Each student presented their research, demonstrating profound expertise, systematic thinking, and independent research capabilities. The defense committee (composed of distinguished professors and external experts) raised incisive questions and provided suggestions to ensure academic quality.

Hailing from different countries, the students brought diverse cultural and academic perspectives. During their studies, they mastered advanced knowledge in finance and economics, experienced Chinese culture, and broadened cross-cultural communication abilities.

After discussion and evaluation, the defense committee formally announced that all five students passed the graduation defense and recommended them for the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Finance and Economics.
