On the afternoon of July 3rd, the School of Finance and Economics held a progress meeting for the Provincial Key Discipline Construction in Applied Economics for the 14th Five-Year Plan and made specific arrangements for the mid-term inspection work.

Wang Xiang, the Secretary of the School of Finance and Economics Party Committee, Chen Haibo, the Deputy Dean, Hu Xuhua, the Director of the Institute of Industrial Economics, and the person in charge of the Applied Economics discipline, along with experts including Tan Zhongming, Tao Zhongyuan, Wang Weidong, Ding Xuhui, Jiang Hongli, and He Dan attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Wang Xiang reported on the spirit of a relevant meeting held by the university's Graduate School on the afternoon of July 1 and conveyed the various requirements for the mid-term inspection work of the provincial key discipline. He emphasized the urgency and significance of this work.

Hu Xuhua systematically reviewed the achievements and issues in the Applied Economics discipline since the 14th Five-Year Plan began. Combining the 'Mid-Term Inspection Report,' he provided a detailed layout of the main content, core indicators, relevant responsibilities, and progress schedule for the mid-term inspection work.
