On the afternoon of May 18, the signing and plaque unveiling ceremony for the 'Jiangsu University and Zhenjiang City Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park Talent Development Joint Base,' jointly organized by the School of Finance and Economics, the Academic Affairs Office, Zhenjiang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Jingkou District Government, was held at the Zhenjiang City Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park. Li Wei, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Xue Hongli, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, were invited to unveil the plaque for the joint base.

Chen Suting, Deputy District Mayor of Jingkou District and the leader of the Science and Technology Township, Jia Zhihong, Head of the Practical Science Division of the Academic Affairs Office, Wang Xiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Finance and Economics, Chen Haibo, Deputy Dean, Sun Houjun, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Dean, Yan Jun, Deputy Dean, and relevant leaders from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce Foreign Trade Department, Dayushan Community, and the Municipal Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park, as well as representatives from the School of Finance and Economics Party Affairs Office, International Trade Department, Statistics Department, and 'Double Innovation' mentors attended the signing and plaque unveiling ceremony.

This marks the first time that Jiangsu University has granted a license to establish an industry-education integration talent development joint base and also the city's first effort in industry-education integration talent development in the field of cross-border e-commerce. Taking this as an opportunity, both parties will engage in deep cooperation in areas such as student internships, talent training, entrepreneurship competitions, and business incubation, strengthening industry-education integration, achieving campus-community interaction, and playing an active role in further enhancing the quality of talent development at the university and supporting Zhenjiang's cross-border e-commerce industry and local economic and social development.

After the ceremony, both sides conducted research and discussions on the implementation of the next phase of industry-education integration talent development.
