Profile

Junguo Shi received a BSc in International Economics and Trade at Northeastern University (NEU, QHD campus) in 2010, an MSc in Industrial Economics in 2013 (NEU), and a Ph.D. in Industrial Economics in 2017 (NEU). During February 2016 and March 2017, he was a junior researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) with supported by the prestigious KNAW funding. Since 2017 December, he works as an Assistant Professor at Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang, China. Recently, he is visiting in Seoul National University as a postdoc researcher supported by Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC).

Junguo Shi is actively cooperating with researchers at Eindhoven University of Technology, Seoul National University, Yuanze University, Xiamen University, UNU-MERIT, Inha University, and among others. His research mainly focuses on topics like catching-up for latecomers, economics of Innovation, environmental innovation, main path analysis, and agent-based modeling simulation. His research articals appear in Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Management and Organization Review, Journal of Global Information Technology Management and other Chinese outlets.
