The finance department of the School of Finance and Economics actively carried out the discussion activities of emancipating the mind and promoting development, closely adhering to the theme of improving the quality of personnel training, building consensus, deepening the practice of teaching reform and creating a new pattern of first-class talents with the liberation of ideas. From June 19th to 23rd, the ministry of finance invited vice president Luo Jianxin of Zhenjiang Branch of China Merchants Bank, Tang Xiaoyong, president of CITIC Bank Zhenjiang Branch, Wei Anyan, vice president of Construction Bank Zhenjiang Branch, and general manager of Caihua Construction, Industrial Bank of Zhenjiang Branch Bank of Shenzhen Head Office Xie Wei and other bank executives to hold a series of lectures for financial department teachers and students on these hot issues like commercial banking business reform, banking innovation practice, technology and business trends, financial talent training, etc. The commercial banking credit business, accounting business, international business, personal business, modern credit reporting and other operational practices also have been analyzed and explained in a simple way.

    The lecture was first presented by Director Xie Wei of China Merchants Bank Shenzhen Head Office. Director Xie analyzed and explained the problems of credit reporting technology, credit information model and credit information practice of modern commercial banks. During the lectures, he interacted students frequently and effectively mobilized students' interest. The explanation was very vivid. In the following few days of lectures, executives focused on the current hot issues of commercial banks with their own work experience from the basic theoretical knowledge of finance and business practice of commercial banks, to provide students with a number of banking practices and a feast of financial theory.

    Through five storm-style studies in four days, the students have a fuller understanding of the business practices of modern commercial banks. Their interests in learning financial theory have improved, and their goals have become clearer. The department of finance has also more clearly grasped the demand for financial talents in the financial practice sector, so that the training program can be adjusted in time to meet the needs of financial development.
