September 10, 16:00 pm, the Welcome Meeting To 2012 Freshman of school of finance and economics was held in the auditorium.
Professor Kong Yusheng, the dean of school of finance and economics, delivered a warm speech. Professor Kong on behalf of School gave the 2012 students a warm welcome speech. Then he introduced the disciplines and training characteristics of SFE. He expressed high expectations, with planning as a keyword, for the students. He said the students should learn to plan university period, make full use of the resources the University. The freshman should be independent, both in life and study. Sharing and cooperation are important in campus life. He advises the students to plan self-improvement and actively participate in various community activities and physical exercise.
Then the deputy director of Statistics department, Associate Professor Li Fanglin, Zhang Ruo as older students on behalf of students, Jiang Yanjun as a new student spoke at the meeting.
